Stamped Concrete FAQ
If you have a question we haven't answered here, ask it during your free consultation. We'd rather you ask than wonder.
The cracks that destroy patios — the ones that heave and separate — come from the base, not the stamp. When a patio is poured on unprepared or poorly compacted ground, New Hampshire's freeze-thaw cycles push and settle the soil underneath, and the concrete on top cracks and heaves. All concrete can develop hairline cracks over time, but the structural damage that ruins patios comes from the base. That's why we engineer the base first.
