Stamped Concrete Patios by Elite Outdoor Services in New Hampshire

Stamped & Decorative Concrete Patios

The patio that survives a New Hampshire winter starts under the ground.

Who it's for

Homeowners who want a patio that looks beautiful and lasts decades — and who want to see the base built right before the pour.

Not for

Anyone looking for the cheapest pour on questionable dirt. If the base doesn't matter to you, we're not the right crew.

What it is

Stamped concrete is poured concrete imprinted with patterns — slate, stone, brick, wood-grain — and colored to match your home and landscape. What makes it last isn't the pattern. It's everything underneath: the excavation depth, the compacted sub-base, the drainage, and the reinforcement engineered for New Hampshire freeze-thaw.

The Base Story

What's underneath matters more than the pattern.

Every competitor shows pretty finished patios. Our story is what's underneath — the excavation, drainage, compaction, and reinforcement engineered for New Hampshire freeze-thaw, and the fact that you get to see every stage.

We do our own excavation and base prep in-house. We call 811 before we dig. We compact the sub-base in lifts. We install drainage. We lay reinforcement. And we document every stage with photos and video — so you see the quality going in, not just the finished surface.

All concrete can develop hairline cracks over time. What we engineer against is the structural cracking and heaving that destroys patios — the kind that comes from an unprepared base and poor drainage under freeze-thaw pressure.

The ELITE Process

How we build it

1

Read the Site & Plan the Base

Patrick walks your yard, reads the drainage and grade, and plans the base to your specific soil and slope — not a one-size-fits-all pour.

2

Excavate & Engineer

In-house Bobcat work, compaction, drainage, and reinforcement built for freeze-thaw. We call 811 before we dig.

3

Pour, Stamp & Seal — Documented

Photo and video of every stage, so you see the quality going in — not just the finished surface.

4

Walk It With You

A final walk-around before it's called done. You see the work, ask questions, and sign off.

Timeline

Most patios are entertaining-ready in about three weeks once we break ground, weather permitting. The timeline depends on the project scope. Patrick gives you a firm timeline during your consultation, and if New Hampshire weather pushes the schedule, you get an updated timeline and we get you back on track as fast as conditions allow.

We don't pour in conditions that would compromise the concrete or the base. A patio rushed through bad weather is a patio that won't last.

Service FAQs

How deep do you excavate for a stamped patio?

Deep enough to get below organic material and build a compacted sub-base that drains. The exact depth depends on your soil — that's one of the things Patrick reads during your consultation. What matters is that the base is engineered, not guessed.

Will the stamped pattern fade or crack?

All concrete can develop hairline cracks over time — that's the nature of the material. What we engineer against is the structural cracking and heaving that destroys patios: the kind that comes from an unprepared base and poor drainage under freeze-thaw pressure.

Can I see the base before you pour?

Yes — and we encourage it. We document every stage with photos and video, and you're welcome to walk the site after excavation and before the pour. That's the whole point of building from the base up.

What stamp patterns are available?

Slate, fieldstone, cobblestone, wood-grain, brick, and custom combinations. We help you choose a pattern and color that fits your home and landscape — not the same three patterns every other crew in the region pours.
