Concrete Walkways & Entryways

The first step onto your property should feel solid — and stay that way.

Who it's for

Homeowners who want a walkway or entry that ties their home to their landscape and handles foot traffic, snow, and ice season after season.

Not for

A quick pour over existing ground with no base prep. A walkway without a proper base will heave at the first freeze.

What it is

Stamped and decorative concrete walkways and entry landings built with the same base-first approach as our patios. The pattern and color can match or complement a patio, tying your outdoor space together.

The Base Story

What's underneath matters more than the pattern.

Every competitor shows pretty finished patios. Our story is what's underneath — the excavation, drainage, compaction, and reinforcement engineered for New Hampshire freeze-thaw, and the fact that you get to see every stage.

We do our own excavation and base prep in-house. We call 811 before we dig. We compact the sub-base in lifts. We install drainage. We lay reinforcement. And we document every stage with photos and video — so you see the quality going in, not just the finished surface.

All concrete can develop hairline cracks over time. What we engineer against is the structural cracking and heaving that destroys patios — the kind that comes from an unprepared base and poor drainage under freeze-thaw pressure.

The ELITE Process

How we build it

1

Read the Site & Plan the Base

Patrick walks the path, reads the slope and drainage, and plans how the walkway moves water away from your foundation.

2

Excavate & Engineer

In-house excavation, compaction, and reinforcement — the same engineered base as our patios, sized for a walkway.

3

Pour, Stamp & Seal — Documented

Your walkway poured and stamped, with photos of the base and the finished surface.

4

Walk It With You

Final walk-around to make sure the path, grade, and finish meet the plan.

Timeline

Most patios are entertaining-ready in about three weeks once we break ground, weather permitting. The timeline depends on the project scope. Patrick gives you a firm timeline during your consultation, and if New Hampshire weather pushes the schedule, you get an updated timeline and we get you back on track as fast as conditions allow.

We don't pour in conditions that would compromise the concrete or the base. A patio rushed through bad weather is a patio that won't last.

Service FAQs

Can a walkway match my existing patio?

Yes. We can match stamp patterns and colors to an existing patio, or design a complementary pattern that ties the spaces together visually.

Do walkways need the same base as patios?

The base depth and reinforcement may differ based on expected loads, but the principle is the same: a compacted, draining sub-base below freeze depth. A walkway poured on unprepared ground will heave.

How do you handle walkways on a slope?

We design for the grade — using steps, landings, or a graded path that moves water properly. The base is compacted and engineered to hold on the slope, not just poured and hoped for.
